As assumption. Nobody's afraid of recursion, but match patterns are
nicer, yes? Recall my original question:

I was just afret the simplest approach - not a diagnosis of my phobias
(which are far more interesting than anything on this list ;~}.
I appreciate your input however. Recursion does appear to be the best
way to go about this.
