RE: HTML <script> tag

I really like the idea of having an <xsl:output method="xhtml"> which solves
the whole problem of keeping html looking like xml but wonder how widely
this is supported??? Is the 'xhtml' output method now incorporated into some
schema or DTD?

Saxon 6.5.2 supports <xsl:output method="saxon:xhtml"/>
Saxon 7.1 and 7.2 support <xsl:output method="xhtml"/>
