In which version of RenderX ? Last time I looked it did not support it.
My apologies, Patrick ... when I ran my test I had loaded the wrong result
into Acrobat and assumed it was the one that I created by RenderX.
I have one stylesheet for my book publishing that is interchangeable
between Antenna House and RenderX so when I saw the same result I didn't
think that I had accidentally loaded the same file twice.
The way I understood it, RenderX would like to support this soon. It may use
a new version of its FO renderer to also allow a page to be split in several
areas (with a variable independent number of columns).
That would be an extension to XSL-FO that only supports a single column
specification for a given simple page geometry.
Sorry again for misleading you with my incorrect answer.
............... Ken
