In Xpath1 > in that context will always try to convert its two
arguments to numbers and do numeric comparison.
The current proposal for Xpath 2 is that > will do string
lexicographic comparison in that context unless you have explictly made
$lev a number.
presumably saxon's just being kind and warning you of this change in
Xpath semantics.
