In some cases, the incompatibilities that are documented in the WD were
discovered at a late stage of drafting: this is such an example. I don't
think this one was introduced deliberately after a considered debate, in
fact, my personal opinion is that it's a bug - but I might be wrong. We're
talking about work in progress.
