one last note about case conversions
if the case mappings exist, which they do in the form of Unicode mappings,
my question was why not use them ???? doesnt take a rocket scientist to
program......
the only problem which i acknowledge now, is that there are so many mappings
that size becomes a problem.
so the next step is to make sure every OS has Unicode libraries and mappings
built in, and then have XSLT processers use the system libraries.
oh well, cheers, jim fuller
