<x:namespace-alias stylesheet-prefix="xsl"
result-prefix="x"/>

<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0">
<xsl:template match="/" />
</xsl:stylesheet>
</x:template>
</x:stylesheet>
the namespace x nodes are interpreted while the xsl
nodes get copied over ... real easy.
