Hi 2 all, posting here for the first time.
I am having this error for some time now,really hoping that someone could help...
I have a JSP page that calls a java bean to parse (XML and XSL) so that it displays the result in the JSP page. But i've been receving this same errors.
Could it be that i did not set up my classes correctly? i just extracted the xalan files into c:\, added into autoexec classpath. Then i copied the files in \bin(for Xalan) to (C:\jdk1.3.1\jre\lib\ext).
what i have:
JDK 1.3.1
xalan-j_2_2_D6.zip
Tomcat 3.2.2
Autoexec.bat:
SET CLASSPATH="C:\Program Files\JavaSoft\JRE\1.3.1\lib\ext\QTJava.zip;C:\xalan-j_2_2_D6"
SET QTJAVA="C:\Program Files\JavaSoft\JRE\1.3.1\lib\ext\QTJava.zip"
SET CATALINA_HOME=C:\jakarta-tomcat-3.2.2
SET JAVA_HOME=C:\jdk1.3.1
Java Bean file(XBean.java--alreay tried to complied(successful doh)):
package Institution;
import java.io.*;
import org.xml.sax.SAXException;
import org.apache.xalan.xslt.XSLTProcessorFactory;
import org.apache.xalan.xslt.XSLTResultTarget;
import org.apache.xalan.xslt.XSLTProcessor;
import org.apache.xalan.xslt.XSLTInputSource;
import java.net.*;
import java.lang.Object.*;
public class XBean
{
public XBean(){}
public java.io.OutputStream parse()
throws java.io.IOException,
java.net.MalformedURLException,
org.xml.sax.SAXException
{
java.io.ByteArrayOutputStream b = new java.io.ByteArrayOutputStream();
XSLTProcessor processor = XSLTProcessorFactory.getProcessor();
processor.process(new XSLTInputSource("http://localhost:8080/Institution/"+"newsletter.xml"),
new XSLTInputSource("http://localhost:8080/Institution/"+"newsletter.xsl"), new XSLTResultTarget(b));
return b;}
