Shruti, I don't know if this will be of much help, or if it's what you're
looking for but this is how we used a Java extension ...
At the beginning of the XSL:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<xsl:stylesheet
xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
xmlns:lxslt="http://xml.apache.org/xslt"
xmlns:testIndent="testExtensions"
extension-element-prefixes="testIndent"
version="1.0">
<lxslt:component prefix="testIndent" elements="init" functions="setIndent">
<lxslt:script lang="javaclass" src="testExtensions"/>
</lxslt:component>
<!--removed coding-->
<xsl:template match="poetry-line">
<div class="poetry-line">
<xsl:if test="@indent">
<xsl:value-of disable-output-escaping="yes"
select="testIndent:setIndent(string(@indent))" />
</xsl:if>
<xsl:apply-templates /></div>
</xsl:template>
<!--removed coding-->
Hope this helps.
