well if you want html, specify html output method, if you want text
specify text and if you want xml specify xml.
So it isn't really a question of advantages, they are just different.
HTML isn't XML, It's a particular language using SGML syntax,
text isn't markup at all, has no element or comment nodes, it hust has
text. and XML is XML.
