I'm afraid there aren't many people on this list who will give you any
advice on a WD-xsl stylesheet other than "upgrade to XSLT".

The Microsoft WD-xsl dialect is really obsolescent now, and very limited in
its capabilities compared to XSLT 1.0, which is fully supported by many
vendors including Microsoft.
