You didn't fall, you were pushed.
Given that the largest software company in the world is still actively
promoting "XSL" to mean some non standard extension of a historical
pre-draft of XSL when they actually distribute a remarkably good
implementation of the real thing but hardly advertise it at all,
it is not surprising that confusion over this is still the most common
problem discussed on any XSL forum.
