- Thread-Topic: xpath of context node
hi all,
is it possible to get (and output in the result tree) the xpath of the
context node in XSLT 1.0 - i guess it's something like getting the sql
query corresponding to a certain resultset - there are infinite ways to
express the xpath to a certain node - but maybe something like a best
unique match - by ending this message i almost convinced myself that
there isn't something like that - hopefully i am wrong
thanks, simon
e.g.
xml document:
<form>
<section/>
</form>
xslt document:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0"
xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">
<xsl:template match="/">
<xsl:apply-templates select="section"/>
</xsl:template>
<xsl:template match="section">
<whatevertag><xsl:attribute
name="path"><xsl:????????/></whatevertag>
</xsl:template>
output:
<whatevertag>/form/section</whatevertag>
