The trouble is that the 'To' field doesn't always contain the xsl-list...
address, but may (using some email clients) contain whatever alias the user
set up for that address in their address book.

most emails can be filtered using xsl-list... but not all.

I hope this isn't a stupid question:
can't you use the to:"xsl-lsit..." to filter your mails?
