Thank a lot to David and Steve!
:<xsl:variable name="x" select="//@secur.classif"/>
:<xsl:value-of select="document('')/*/x:classif/@*
: [name(.)=$x or name()='X'][1]"/>
:and at the top of your sheet
:<xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
: version="1.0"
: xmlns:x="file:/dev/null"
: >
:<x:classif P="PRIORITY"/>
:<x:classif F="FAST"/>
:<x:classif P="ROUTINE"/>
:<x:classif X="SLOW"/>
This helped minimize my code, but I could not figure out
how to a conditional if test nested within an otherwise
like the example below with the variable...
<xsl:choose>
<xsl:when></xsl:when>
<xsl:otherwise>
<xsl:text>U N C L A S S I F I E D</xsl:text>
<xsl:if test="//@secur.dissem='FOUO'">
<xsl:text>//FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY</xsl:text>
</xsl:if>
</xsl:otherwise>
</xsl:choose>
