Situation: running latest mac OSX version, game module Modern Game,
using a List window and a Map window. The List window is front-most.
Player action: A city or town is active unit, Play/Build is chosen from
menu (or Cmd-P or P) and a unit is built that is immediately created
(whether complete or incomplete).
Improper behavior: The List window does odd things when a new unit is
selected. It seems as though the list has been adjusted to reflect the
new unit, but the window wasn't told to redraw itself. As I click on
new unit, that line in the list seems to update itself -- becoming a
different unit if the newly built unit is higher up in the list.
Work-around: Whenever a new unit is created, force redrawing of the
entire List window by toggling the menu item View/by X between two
options. For example, if the option before production was View/by
Location. Execute View/by Name, followed by View/by Location. This
updates the window and prevents the odd behaviors.
