As much as I know tcl/tk has been a standard on all linux boxes from early
1996. Even x tool for building linux kernel uses tcl/tk. Many redhad tools
used it. I think you can count on all linux boxes to have one.
I think you're right about that.
Just as an interesting data point, I got a copy of CivCTP for Linux
last week, and noticed that its installer is a wish script! They
don't take any chances though, the CD includes a copy of wish and all
the tcl/tk lib files that it looks for...
