* kernel/actions.c (adjust_tooling_crossover): Fix formula for
computing the crossover.
* kernel/skelconq.c: Add automated test for this (functions
autotest, fail, and assert_true; --auto option).
* test/auto.g: Added.
* test/Makefile.in: Add "make check-auto" target.
