Bug #: 14825
Summary: dtrace .d parser can't handle compact input
Product: systemtap
Version: unspecified
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: releng
AssignedTo: systemtap@sourceware.org
ReportedBy: fche@redhat.com
Classification: Unclassified
On IRC, it was reported that a .d file looking like this:
provider test { probe test1(); /* test */ };
processed by e.g. /usr/bin/dtrace -h, results in no mention of test1().
The line-by-line parsing logic is too simple.
