Tom> FWIW, I'm converting the README into a real libffi.texi.

Ok, I checked in libffi.texi and updated the configury.

Please take a look. I derived much of it from the README, but I
changed parts and I documented the closure API.

I didn't update the README. We should delete all the old docs.

The manual doesn't include docs for the raw API, maybe it should.
There are a couple FIXMEs, please take a look. Also the manual
doesn't include credits, maybe that should be moved out of README as
well? (I didn't do this since I thought that perhaps the credits in
README were out-of-date.)

Anyway, send comments and I will try to address them. Or, just check
in fixes.

If you have a .spec file you should update it to install-info and
whatnot.

Tom
