In the past libc-alpha was the most appropriate place for such questions.
It so happens we have just added a new mailing list that is a better choice.
I've moved the thread there.
You shouldn't have any trouble disabling threads stuff. It's only enabled
when you pass --enable-add-ons to configure. Omit that, or use just
--enable-add-ons=libidn to get the other canonical add-on but not nptl.
Your mentioned of "MMAP macros" does not give me enough information to
guess what your issue there might be. You'll have to actually cite something.
