Re: localedef during tests suddenly needs a lot of memory

For the sake of completeness, the old code did not do that either,
it just got lucky that EAW contained a lot of ranges that overrode
the individual char assignments from UCD. I had to parse EAW before
UCD as a bugfix, so this got lost.

I did suggest to Mike to add code to combine them together, and did
so locally, and we compared the output of our scripts today and found
no difference, so I’d say this issue is settled.

Mike FABIAN dixit:

Again, for completeness, find below the message I sent to the FSF
licensing clerk; Theodore Teah still wishes to do the whole print
then sign then send back thing that will take ages, *and* I’m still
waiting for the PDF to print in the first place, which he wrote
will come in a separate eMail (and already asked when it’ll arrive,
with no answer so far).

Those who deem it enough may take my PGP-signed statement from
below, combined with Mike rewriting enough to leave only a few
lines from me, combined with me believing the initial patch to
be trivial enough to not pass threshold of originality in the
first place.

Subject: Assignment extension

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Hi,

I’ve got a copyright assignment on file for various projects, including
GCC, but not glibc. I would like to formally extend the assignment to
also include my contributions to glibc (GNU libc), such as, but not
limited to, those from:

https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=21750

Thank you,
