Bug ID: 17297
Summary: Wrong date_fmt n Danish locale
Product: glibc
Version: 2.19
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: localedata
Assignee: unassigned at sourceware dot org
Reporter: eyolf at oestrem dot com
CC: libc-locales at sourceware dot org
The Danish locale defintion file at localedata / locales / da_DK has the
following date string definitions:
d_t_fmt="%a %d %b %Y %T %Z"
date_fmt="%a %b %e %H:%M:%S %Z %Y"
or in unicodese:
209 date_fmt "<U0025><U0061><U0020><U0025><U0062><U0020><U0025><U0065>/
210 <U0020><U0025><U0048><U003A><U0025><U004D><U003A><U0025><U0053><U0020>/
211 <U0025><U005A><U0020><U0025><U0059>"
The first is correct, but the second has the date in an order that one would
never use in Denmark. Correct would be to let %b and %e change places. So:
date_fmt="%a %e %b %H:%M:%S %Z %Y"
or
209 date_fmt "<U0025><U0061><U0020><U0025><U0065><U0020><U0025><U0062>/
210 <U0020><U0025><U0048><U003A><U0025><U004D><U003A><U0025><U0053><U0020>/
211 <U0025><U005A><U0020><U0025><U0059>"
Also, the email address of the person who is indicated in the beginning of the
file does not work.
