Modified Esperanto locale (all mentioned issues solved)
I think this patch covers all the issues brought up in this bug:
* Comment #3
> I think there is still an issue of whether a naked lang can be submitted when the common filename format is LL_CC (LL=iso639 lang code, CC=iso31366 country code).
Thanks to Carlos for taking the discussion to libc-alpha[1]. Everybody was for
it. But let it be mentioned, for those that might think that is an issue, that
glibc already ships two "naked" locales, so "Given that POSIX and i18n work it
must mean that downstream tools can consume a locale without geographic
region."[2].
*Comment #11
> Note that the proposed locales contain capitalized month names. It seems to contradict the approach in BZ 14943.
Month names are capitalized in Esperanto[3].
> This submission does not contain any justification for using euro as a monetary unit in Antartic or "Unknown or invalid territory".
The new submission changes this. We use Unicode 00A4 and XDR, just as the
already existing locale i18n does. Nothing new there.
I'd be glad to address any remaining issues, but given that we have the green
light from libc-alpha (not a single objection there) and glibc is already
shipping locales without region code and the currency is taken care of, my
guess is that we are ready to go.
