glibc configuration options

Hello.
My question is in regards to the configuration options
--enable-kernel=VERSION and --enable-add-ons[=LIST]. Specifically,
what are the possible meaningful values for VERSION and for elements
of LIST? Also, besides this mailing list, how would one be able to
determine the answer to this (not self-referring) question?
