I'll fix that and try again. Any chance this is connected to my original
issue?

Indeed, so I noticed...

Well, in this case we *are* the customer, but this doesn't make the
problem any easier; I'll have to take for granted that the build script
works as pronounced, until I've got enough know-how to judge for myself.
However, I tried with the binary BSP/toolchain provided by our vendor,
and it shows the same problem.
