I'm against releasing a glibc 2.1.1 that depends on a texinfo
pre-release for no good reason. I propose to revert the patch.
AFAIK texinfo 3.12f would still compile that file (after reverting the
patch) - but perhaps with warnings - which would annoy only a few.
But leaving the change in would cause problems for most.
Please revert this patch - and if not, we've got to change the
configure test for makeinfo.
