glibc 2.1 plans

Hi,

I should perhaps mention one determining factor for the glibc 2.1 release.

Next week the C and C++ WGs of ISO have there joint meeting in Santa
Cruz. The result of the meeting will be (for the C group) the CD2
draft. I expect several things (esp the time.h extensions) to be
changed. Therefore I will not release glibc 2.1 until a) I have the
new draft (probably CD2 will be public, BTW) and b) all the missing
extensions are implementated.

I.e., I expect glibc to be at least 2, probably 3 to 4 weeks away.
But I'll hopefully this weekend start making weekly test releases,
starting with 2.0.97 this weekend.

So please send me whatever patches you have lying around (Benjamin?).
