How would I build an x86_64 build that only uses .init_array

I have seen sysdeps/init_array, but it seems like that is only used by
arm/nacl? Is there any
way I can build for x86_64 and still get rid of .init/.fini? Is there
some configuration option
I could set?
Thanks,
Keno
