i haven't seen any reports from Gentoo users, and we tend to get reports
when there are parallel issues, even just one-offs.  that covers all the
releases, not git.

in CrOS, we build glibc constantly in our bots, and those tend to be 32
to 64 core boxes.  although the version we use there tends to lag behind
a bit (i think we're still using 2.19).  those tend to find parallel
build errors that no one else sees, but haven't hit any glibc ones.
