Hi,

Thanks everyone for all of the ideas!  I've captured them all here:

http://sourceware.org/glibc/wiki/SmallProjects#malloc

and will refer to them via the wiki page along with a subset in my
talk.  More importantly, I guess it is now a good place for me to
point potential contributors to.  Please keep more ideas coming in.
