Say, I've had deafening silence to my proposal a few weeks ago for a set
of cross-glibc/BSD endianness functions ("betoh64()" etc.). Also for the
Bugzilla entry I made later.
If David Miller can't get a response, what chance can a random guy like
me hope for?
I don't mind so much being told curtly "I'd say that's an even worse
idea than strlcpy()".
I can also imagine that Ulrich Drepper is a scarce resource, appearances
notwithstanding.
But o.t.o.h. leaving people hanging without any response at all is not
great for growing a larger developer / maintainer / janitor pool.
Sorry for this nag!
Regards,
Nanno
