No, I used the following:
mkdir glibc-build
cd glibc-build
../libc/configure --prefix=/usr \
--disable-profile --enable-add-ons=nptl \
--libexecdir=/usr/lib --with-headers=/usr/include --with-kernel=2.6.0 --enable-shared
make && make check && make install
* With Dejagnu installed.
