Your code probably doesn't #include <errno.h>. Make sure that it does that. The old glibc used to allow non-standards compliant code to compile and work. Recent glibcs aren't as permissive. Note that old binaries run against the new glibc will fail (either silently or at startup time, depending on whether the bug related to that has been fixed or not) Tks, Jeff Bailey
