This mailing list is about glibc development, not Red Hat glibc or Debian
glibc. If you want help here, then please concentrate on the canonical
glibc code and how well it works or doesn't. That's what we will investigate
and fix here. If the canonical code does not work and some other version
does, then we are interested in how they differ inasmuch as it helps us fix
the canonical glibc. Otherwise, we leave any consideration of modified
versions to those who modified them. Unless you have a very good specific
reason why we should, we don't want to hear on this list about code other
than what you get from cvs or from test release tarball that Ulrich makes.
I now have a ppc build of my own from glibc cvs, and can debug make check
failures myself to some extent. But doing just that yourself is much more
helpful than sending us a lot of diffs about what someone else is distributing
different from what we debug.
