Don't be so sure.
1) It was announced in parliament only this afternoon that we will
have a referendum on whether to replace the GBP with the Euro within
two years of the next election (expected on May 3rd).
2) Many people here already have to deal with Euros, and having a
locale with the Euro in it seems eminently sensible.
