It must be something I've done during the build. I have two linux systems
with the same 2.1.93 source. One produces the problem the other doesn't.
Before I was going to track down the precise problem I thought I'd just
see if anyone had seen it to save me some time. Of course, the easy
solution is to copy the working to the non-working.
