I can add one thing here - binutils 2.9.1.0.15 on powerpc can not cope
with glibc. It works for the actual build, but when I attempt to strip
the shared libraries, strip dumps core. At least .13 did not have this
problem, and the binaries seem to be fine - just strip is dying. I'll
try to debug this later this week.
