It's true, they did.

Are you reporting this problem to RH? Or throwing out random
complaints on some technical list, hoping that someone who works
for Red Hat might happen to notice?
Are you trying to solve a problem, or just whine ineffectively?

The SSH server on sources.redhat.com was upgraded from the non-free
1.2.27 to OpenSSH a while back. All existing developer keys are
SSH v1 keys (this includes you, obviously).

Unfortunately, the people who made the migration could not find a
way to get an OpenSSH client talking to an OpenSSH server to default
to ssh v1; OpenSSH would always try to use ssh v2 and fail because
no v2 key is present. Unless the client had a "Protocol 1" line
in their .ssh/config file (as David Billinghurst writes), of course.

I know it comes as a shock, but RH does not have vast rooms full
of technical people who read every mailing list, with every subject
("Bug: gamma_inc"?) on the remote chance that the post might contain
a question or gripe about the hosting server. You're going to have
to do more than that. More could have been done to publicize this
change, but random kvetching doesn't help matters any.

If you have questions like this in the future, you could try
contacting the publicized administrative contact for sources.redhat.com,
sourcemaster@sources.redhat.com. I can guarantee it will prove a
more reliable method of getting help than posting to gsl-discuss.
