Hello,
I am trying to configure glibc-2.1.2 on my Linux 2.2.13 box. I
installed texinfo-4.0 to provide makeinfo support for the glibc
build, but the configure script does not like it -- it wants version
3.1.x, it seems. I cannot find version 3.1.x anymore.
Why is it that version 4.0 does not suffice? And, is there a place I
may grab the earlier release?
