Bug ID: 22761
Summary: No trailing `%n' conversion specifier in FMT passed
from `__assert_perror_fail ()' to `__assert_fail_base
()'
Product: glibc
Version: 2.27
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: libc
Assignee: unassigned at sourceware dot org
Reporter: ilmalakhov at yandex dot ru
CC: drepper.fsp at gmail dot com
Target Milestone: ---
Hi.
A trailing `%n' conversion specifier is obviously missing from the format
string passed from `__assert_perror_fail ()' to `__assert_fail_base ()'. This
may result in the use of an uninitialized local variable when calculating
`total' in the latter function.
Another invocation of `__assert_fail_base ()' from `__assert_fail ()' looks
OK.
