[Bug libc/18470] New: fnmatch strnlen namespace

https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=18470

            Bug ID: 18470
           Summary: fnmatch strnlen namespace
           Product: glibc
           Version: 2.21
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: libc
          Assignee: unassigned at sourceware dot org
          Reporter: jsm28 at gcc dot gnu.org
                CC: drepper.fsp at gmail dot com
  Target Milestone: ---

fnmatch brings in references to strnlen, which isn't in all the standards that
contain fnmatch (not added until the 2008 edition of POSIX), resulting in
linknamespace test failures. (This is contrary to glibc conventions, rather
than a standards conformance issue, because of the str* reservation.)

[initial] fnmatch -> [libc.a(fnmatch.o)] strnlen
