Bug ID: 16376
Summary: [PATCH] manual: Document %m instead of %a for
formatted input, note POSIX.1-2008
Product: glibc
Version: unspecified
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: manual
Assignee: unassigned at sourceware dot org
Reporter: ville.skytta at iki dot fi

manual: Document %m instead of %a for formatted input, note POSIX.1-2008
I could not get mail through to the libc-alpha list (was subscribed, tried
"global-allow-subscribe-...", kept getting "Sorry, I've been told to reject
your posts.") so I'm submitting this patch here.
I suppose %m would benefit from more documentation than this but simply
documenting it in place of %a already seems to be an improvement standards wise
as it's not only GNU, but POSIX as well.
