[Bug math/15283] New: y1l spurious overflows for ldbl-96

http://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=15283

             Bug #: 15283
Summary: y1l spurious overflows for ldbl-96
           Product: glibc
           Version: 2.17
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: math
        AssignedTo: unassigned@sourceware.org
        ReportedBy: jsm28@gcc.gnu.org
    Classification: Unclassified

The ldbl-96 implementation of y1l raises spurious OVERFLOW and INVALID
exceptions because of an incorrect check for whether the argument can safely be
doubled. E.g., y1l (0x1p16383L) raises such exceptions.
