Bug #: 14139
Summary: Do not hardcode platform names in
manual/libm-err-tab.pl
Product: glibc
Version: 2.15
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: manual
AssignedTo: unassigned@sourceware.org
ReportedBy: jsm28@gcc.gnu.org
CC: mtk.manpages@gmail.com, roland@gnu.org
Classification: Unclassified
As I noted in <http://sourceware.org/ml/libc-alpha/2012-02/msg00196.html>,
manual/libm-err-tab.pl hardcodes a list of names for particular platforms.
Instead, each libm-test-ulps file should have some header line giving the name
to be used in the manual, libm-err-tab.pl should extract the names from those
lines and those lines should be preserved by gen-libm-test.pl when used to
update ULPs files.
