You mean that digits, like in very old electronic hand watches are better
alternative for modern computer systems? Congratulations for your taste.

Have you ever read historical, biological or science articles?. Maybe you
treating newspapers articles as literary? Ok. it's your mind, but don't
fabricate what I am thinking about.

So read carefully your comment #118 and my question from comment #122
> These programs don't use the localized order of date parts.

Why are you talking to people what to do? What do you think who are you?
____________________________________________
To summarize:
1. Most european countries are using 3 letters abmon and abday (Comment #49)
and don't talk your ill: "Anglo-centrist" or "anglophones" because I'm
thinking that you are Anglophobe.
2. In Poland, in computer systems (http://poradnia.pwn.pl/lista.php?id=8124)
or computer programs (http://www.rjp.pl/?mod=kr&type=ort&subtype=37&id=123)
using this abbreviation are fully permitted an accepted by Council of Polish
Language, expert from Faculty of Philology Institute of Polish Language
Division of Contemporary Polish Language. It is accepted by normal people too
(read this bug report carefully)
3. Day and month abbreviations are in accordance to ISO/IEC TR 14652
4. These abbreviations was used from years so it is "best practice"
===
5. Three letters abmon and abday solving a lot of problems with unmaintainted
but widely used programs.
6. Three letters abmon and abday solving problems with programs which don't use
the localized order of date parts
7. Three letters abmon and abday will solving a date problem in new or broken
programs.
All this arguments are well documented in bug 4789 report
Now it is the time for your arguments. Pure, clear arguments.
