using gethostid() function provide by glibc trying to open twice a file which
don't exist.
strace output concerning this function.
open("/etc/hostid", O_RDONLY|O_LARGEFILE) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
open("/etc/hostid", O_RDONLY|O_LARGEFILE) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
