unknown Symbol format problem with latest snapshot

Subject: unknown Symbol format problem with latest snapshot

Hi,

	I am working on gnu based toolchain for infineon's xc16x
processor
Which uses GDB.
	GDB is configured as --host=i686-pc-cygwin --target=xc16x-elf

	I am facing problem with latest snapshot of insight-6.6
(insight-weekly-6.6.50-20070820).
when I run following command:

xc16x-elf-gdb /cygdrive/z/Samples/App1/Blink.out


it gives following error message:

I'm sorry, Dave, I can't do that. Symbol format xc16x-elf is unknown.

This problem was not there with earlier version of insight (version 6.4
& 6.6).

Do anyone have any idea?
