RE: Install only binaries


Running 'gmake install-gdb' still installs the lib/*.a files, (as well as
the man files). I don't see why I need .a files in the installation. Can I
eliminate this? Am I missing something?

You can use install-gdb to run install only in the gdb directory, for
example.
