Hello,
If my understanding of history is correct, Cygnus has been slowly
accumulating/maintaining architectural simulators in the src/sim/*
directory and including them in with GDB. These simulators are both
used when testing GCC/GDB and when developing embedded applications.
Some simulators even have uses in a native environment - sim/ppc, for
instance, got to the point where it could run Linux/PPC binaries.
I'd like to first put Frank Eigler <fche at redhat dot com> forward as
the sim directory ``watch dog'' (I guess I'd be a fallback) and then
suggest a fairly lax maintenance policy.
